Koikeya Pride Potato 100% Kyoto Yuzu Shichimi Yakitori is part of Koikeya's new Pride Potato 100% series launched in Japan in 2026, created to showcase distinctive regional Japanese ingredients and flavors. Made with 100% Japanese-grown potatoes, this Kyoto edition combines aromatic yuzu shichimi with the savory umami of Japanese grilled chicken (yakitori).

The star ingredient is an original yuzu shichimi blend from Kamisharaku in Saga-Arashiyama, Kyoto. Bright Japanese yuzu provides a refreshing citrus aroma, while shichimi adds an elegant, gentle heat. The seasoning is then layered with rich chicken umami, creating a flavor inspired by yakitori seasoned with fragrant Kyoto-style yuzu spice.

Each bite moves from fresh citrus fragrance to mild spice and savory grilled-chicken depth - a combination very different from ordinary potato chip flavors found outside Japan.
